The background of the special issue is focused on the Horticultural crops. These crops are rich source of plant secondary metabolites and highly perishable in nature. Our objective is to accumulate the original research work exploring the metabolism issues, hi-tech production technologies, biotic and abiotic stresses and molecular biology of horticultural crops. These produce suffers from extensive post harvest spoilage. Henceforth, storage, processing and preservation technologies of these crops will also be taken into consideration along with post harvest pathogenesis and metabolism. In terms of bioactive compounds for human health Horticultural crops plays a very important sources.
Aims and Scope:
  1. Horticulture
  2. Biology
  3. Biotechnology
  4. Medicinal plant
  5. Metabolites
  6. Post harvest biology
