This research is focused on the sound pollution of the city of Ilo, whose main purpose has been to assess and raise awareness of the disturbing acoustic situation in the urban city, for which monitoring and sampling techniques were applied to the railways and highways, to obtain the level of sound pressure by means of a Class 1 sonometer, also to calibrate and perform the monitoring correctly, we rely on the methodology of the DIGESA, NTP 1996 -1 of 2007 and the National Environmental Noise Monitoring Protocol, AMC N° 031-2011-MINAM / OGA. Determination of the sound pressure levels produced by the automotive fleet during the day and night hours in the city of Ilo. The methodology is based on the AMC National Noise Monitoring Protocol No. 031-2011-MINAM / OGA, the use of Class I Sonometer Larson & Davis-IEC 61672 (International Electrotechnical Commission, IEC Standard). The results obtained according to the methodology developed can infer the following; in the five sound pressure monitoring stations over 50 dBA and 60 dBA, proposed by Peruvian regulations for mixed zones, ranging from a minimum of 42 dBA to a maximum of 118 dBA during the day. For the case of night, we have to range from a minimum of 40 dBA to a maximum of 90 dBA. The methodology is easy to apply and the results show that the sound pressure levels are high due to the flow of the vehicle fleet that does not comply with national and local regulations.
Aims and Scope:
Determine sound pressure levels
Identify the points with the highest noise pollution
Quantifying la noise level produced by the train and vehicular transportation
Analyze the results obtained with national noise standards
