Guidelines for Submission
Manuscripts can be submitted until the expiry of the deadline. Submissions must be previously unpublished and may not be under consideration elsewhere.
Papers should be formatted according to the guidelines for authors (see: http://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/journal/guideforauthors?journalid=502). By submitting your manuscripts to the special issue, you are acknowledging that you accept the rules established for publication of manuscripts, including agreement to pay the Article Processing Charges for the manuscripts. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the online manuscript submission system at http://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/login. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal and will be listed together on the special issue website.

Introduction
Contemporary linguistic studies are very open to various cross disciplines. For example linguistics & identity, linguistics & feminist stylistics, linguistics & media, or critical discourse analysis. For me, this point is an opportunity to elaborate interdisciplinary linguistic studies. Moreover, conventional linguistics proved to be not very satisfying. Therefore, my special issue is to interpret the text more deeply, more creatively and more diversely.
Aims and Scope:
  1. Describes the identity in the text. How that identity is reflected, for example certain values in one group and another group are positioned.
  2. The choice of identity implies an assessment of something. This, as one uses language to reflect his thoughts. By elaboration of identity can find an assessment of race, religion, women's issues etc.
  3. Identity ia an analysis of narrative in the text. The death of the big narrative made the issue of identity appear as an alternative issue which was dialogue. As for this analysis can be done in the analysis of literary text such as novel or poetry, media etc
  4. The text can often bias when describe women. Sara Mills argues that text is the result of negotiations on the reception context and production context. According to Mills, the negotiation affects the image of women in the text.
  5. Feminist stylistics is a stylistic approach that emphasizes how women are positioned in the text.
  6. Language is not neutral. Language denote power. Media language is a practice of power. The purpose critical discourse analysis (CDA) is to operate in describe how media language is a practice of power.
