Manuscripts can be submitted until the expiry of the deadline. Submissions must be previously unpublished and may not be under consideration elsewhere.

By submitting your manuscripts to the special issue, you are acknowledging that you accept the rules established for publication of manuscripts, including agreement to pay the Article Processing Charges for the manuscripts. Introduction
Nanotechnology is extensively increasing its domain and assumes to be technology of future. With nanotechnology, scientists are acquiring abilities to understand and manipulate materials at the scale of atoms and molecules, with having immense good quality. Nanomaterials fall into a size range similar to proteins and other macromolecular structures found inside living cells. Nanotechnology being exploited in communications, engineering, chemistry, physics, robotics, biology, and medicine. Nowadays, extensive research study on nanotechnology and its application in medicine for therapeutic drug delivery and in the diagnostic of variety of diseases and disorders have been reported. Nanometric carriers utilizing cellular machinery to facilitate the delivery of drugs and drug targeting. Nanocarrier containing encapsulated, dispersed, absorbed or conjugated drugs have unique characteristics that can lead to enhanced performance in a variety of dosage forms. When formulated correctly, drug particles are resistant to settling and can have higher saturation solubility, rapid dissolution and enhanced adhesion to biological surfaces, thereby providing rapid onset of therapeutic action and improved bioavailability. An emerging field of Nanomedicine focused on targeting drugs, biotechnological products and genes to a desirable group of cells. The targeted delivery can minimize unwanted side effects of the drugs on other tissues. Apart from this, nanomedicine is also used for diagnosis, suitable vehicle and permeation enhancers. Viewing the success of nanomedicine in various forms, this special issue is dedicated to various researches and reviews of nanotechnology for medical applications. This issue will discuss about various intelligent drug delivery systems such as inorganic nanoparticles, polymeric nanoparticles, Lipid nanoparticles and many others based drug delivery.
