The novel aromatic Schiff bases were prepared through a reaction between Aldehyde with Amine groups of (drugs compounds). The characteristics of Schiff bases were detected by (FT-IR), (C.H.N.S) and (1H-NMR) Technique. The possibility of Schiff bases solution to form a complex compound with transition elements Ions through spot test was achieved by which the Schiff bases appeared ability to form a complex compound with Ions and analytical study for their compounds were also pronounced. The chelating agents were also prepared through carrying the Schiff bases with polymers net and they were characterized by (FT-IR) Technique. The affinity of the binding of Schiff bases with the chelating agent was detected by the Batch method. The chelating agents which prepared from drugs material show higher affinity than chelating agents that prepared from un drugs materials, also, the ability of polymer drugs to recover and separate from Ions.
Aims and Scope:
  1. Bisphenol A
  2. Naproxen
  3. Chelating resins
  4. Paraformaldehyde
  5. H2SO4
  6. Tetra hydro furan
