Analytical chemistry is essential to everyday life, required to determine the composition and control the quality of many products, to protect the environment and to monitor health. Analytical chemistry also has a major impact in forensic chemistry. Forensic chemistry is the application of analytical chemistry to the law and involves the examination of physical traces. Nowadays, many different analytical methods are used to reveal what chemical changes occurred during an incident, and so help reconstruct the sequence of events.
This special issue published in Science Journal of Analytical Chemistry is devoted to publish:
1. Original Research Papers 2. Review Articles 3. Preliminary Communications 4. Letters to the Editor 5. Book Reviews 6. Case Reports
The journal covers all legal aspects of the general disciplines listed above, as well as specialist topics of analytical and forensic interest that are included in, or are related to, these disciplines, e.g.:
1. Biochemical and chemical analyses; 2. Atomic and Molecular Spectroscopy (UV, IR, Raman, NMR, MS, Microscopy, FS); 3. Chemical Sensors, Biosensors and Related Technologies; 4. Chromatography and Electrophoresis; 5. Electroanalysis and Electroanalytical Techniques; 6. Sample Preparation; 7. Separation Techniques; 8. The forensic Application of Advanced Analytical, Physical, Chemical and Instrumental Techniques; 9. Forensics and the Environment; 10. Forensic Genetics & DNA Analysis; 11. Finger-printing & Techniques; 12. Forensic Clinical Medicine; 13. Criminal Cases.
