This issue “ Cell Wall Remodeling and Stress Responses” will address the plant cell wall remodeling constitutes an important component of plant responses to stresses either abiotic or biotic stresses to maintain overall function and growth. A limited number of cell wall factors that contribute to the development of plant stress tolerance is still largely unknown. Integrative network analysis of synthetic genetic interactions, protein-protein interactions, and functional annotations will reveal many new functional processes linked to cell wall remodeling and stress tolerance. Therefore, these insights may provide a foundation for further research to reveal details of the cell wall machinery and stress-responsive factors to provide targets and strategies to facilitate plant adaptation.
