Solar Energy in Northern State (Sudan): Current State and Prospects

This article discussed present and future situation of solar energy; with special concern to PV technologies, in Northern State (Sudan) as an essential element for the sustainable development of the State. Also, the article identified the constraints that faced the large-scale penetration of solar energy into the energy market of the State, and draw conclusion and recommendation for increasing solar energy contribution to this market.
