Sustainable or Green Supply Chain Management (SSCM) has implications for environmental concerns, declining profitability, corporate social responsibility and intense global competition. (SSCM) aims at using environment friendly raw material, green production processes that and using distribution packaging that is also environment friendly. Such company’s final products are recycled through reverse logistics to gain sustainable development. There are lots of barriers that affect the success rate of industries. Now there is a need to identify barriers related to (SSCM) implementation in the textile firms of Pakistan. The objective of the present study is focus on the identification and classification of these barriers. For this purpose, Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP), Fuzzy Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (FTOPSIS) technique were used for the identification and ranking of these barriers. Primary data were collected by using questionnaire and interviews from textile firms. Environmental aspects were the major category acting as barrier for implementing (SSCM). Results, future scope and limitations have been discussed.
