From 04/2009 to 11/2009, Forming of HSLA domes , To devise forming technology for metal spinning of ellipsoidal domes of high strength low alloy steel. Necessary heat treatment processes to remove forming stresses were also identified
From 01/2010 to 07/2010, Hot forming of Mg based aluminum components , To develop technology for hot forming edge bending of AA5083 alloy. Necessary temperature and time were determined
From 10/2010 to 05/2011, Machining of aerospace structure , To explore optimal processing paramters and to find most economical strategy to produce thin walled AL structures with uniform thickness employing mill machining
